Augustana University invites international students who will complete secondary school to 应用 对非盟. Transfer students and non-degree (study abroad) students are also welcome.
入学 is granted to those who have excellent academic promise and achieved a minimum score on one of the following English proficiency exams: 托福考试 (550 PBT or 79 iBT), 雅思考试 (6.0 overall band), Duolingo English Test (110), PTE (53), 见过 (58)
Augustana operates on a “rolling” admission process. This means that from Sept. 1 through June 30, the university will evaluate the student's application file and make an admission decision as soon as it is complete. There is no fee to 应用.
Students who 应用 prior to March 1 will have an advant年龄 in obtaining scholarships, securing an American roommate, choosing classes and allowing for sufficient time to secure a visa in their home country. AU accepts applications up to a year in advance of the term students are planning to enroll. The university recommends that students complete the application process below no later than two months in advance.
To be considered for both admission and scholarships, send/complete the following to Augustana:
- 应用 online using the Augustana online application form or Common Application
- All secondary and post-secondary transcripts, results and/or national exam scores
- A personal statement (250 words minimum) describing a significant challenge you have overcome
- One of the following test score reports (only one of these is required, not all of them):
- 行为 (Augustana's Code is 3902)
- 坐 (Augustana's Code is 6015)
- 托福考试 (Augustana’s Institutional Code is 6015)
- 雅思考试
- Duolingo English Test
- Michigan English Test (见过)
- PTE
- EIKEN
- GTEC CBT
- ELS Langu年龄 Center's ELS 112 course
- Financial Statement showing sufficient resources to support yourself for one academic year
- 完成 International Student Financial Ability Form
- A copy of the photo p年龄 of your passport
Applicants are requested to send documents electronically (including scans of transcripts and exam scores) to international@奥吉.edu or by email to their admission counselor.
Schools that submit "original" copies of transcripts may also send electronic copies to international@奥吉.edu or by email to the student's admission counselor.
Original paper documents sent by applicants, 赞助商, schools or exam centers (for example, high school transcripts and exam scores) must be sent by regular or express courier to:
